The Ursuline Lancers, CKSS Golden Hawks and Blenheim Bobcats have chosen their all-stars for the LKSSAA senior girls' rugby season.

Pacing series at Dresden Raceway

The annual Mark Austin Pacing Series will begin Sunday at Dresden Raceway after last week’s series opener was rained out.

The series is for horses that have never won a race or have lifetime winnings under $5,000.

Post time is 1:30 p.m.

The raceway is still awaiting approval from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to hold a makeup date Sunday, June 30, after last week’s rainout. There will be races Monday, July 1.

Diamonds play vintage baseball

The Chatham Diamonds will host the Woodslee Orioles at 7 p.m. Sunday at Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park in a 43+ game in the Vintage Baseball Federation of Ontario.

It will be the first home game for the Diamonds, who have players from 43 to 65 years old.

The newly created team plays exhibition games and tournaments across Ontario.

Shutout loss for Express

The Chatham Express’s two-game winning streak ended Friday with a 4-0 loss to the Carib Stars at St. Clair College’s Chatham Campus.

The Express are 2-2-2 in the Western Ontario Soccer League’s First Division.
