SOUTH BUXTON – From start to finish, Marshall Hereygers dominated the Mini Mods class this season at South Buxton Raceway.
He was just as dominant in the championship race Saturday night.
Hereygers took the lead early in the feature and weaved through the lapped traffic en route to another win.
His season began with a victory on opening night and includes the mid-season championship.
“We’re here to dominate,” he said in victory lane.
Hereygers dedicated the latest win to his father-in-law Ray Burgess, who died earlier this year.
Andrew Pfahler was the runner-up and Caleb O’Leary was third.
Justin Mills celebrated his first Modifieds feature win. He dedicated the victory to his grandfather for believing in him.
Eugene Hoekstra was second and Clayton Smith was third.
Barry Watson won the Thunderstocks’ feature. He’s a 2018 Delaware Speedway points champion.
“I didn’t think we’d see this place this year,” Watson said.
Watson is going out on a high note. Saturday was his final night of the season.
Brian Brady was second and Jeff Roelofs was third.
Jason Haskell won the Late Models’ feature race. Brad Authier was second and Dale Glassford placed third after starting in 14th.
