Many of Chatham-Kent’s best hockey players will face off again this summer in the fourth annual Athletes’ Fuel Cup.
The three-team series brings together pro, university, college, junior and midget players.
Trainer Colin Roeszler of Athletes’ Fuel Strength & Conditioning began the series in 2016 to help players start getting in game-shape before training camps begin.
Calgary Flames defenceman T.J. Brodie, Winnipeg Jets signee Seth Griffith and Kyle Hope of England’s Manchester Storm are the team captains.
The schedule begins Monday, July 29, at Thames Campus Arena with two games: Team Brodie vs. Team Griffith from 7:30-8:30 p.m., and Team Griffith vs. Team Hope from 8:45-9:45 p.m.
The public is welcome. Admission is free.
