Re: Andrew Cohen’s column Wilson-Raybould, Philpott taking the path to obscurity (May 30).
For Cohen to write “When things didn’t go (Jody Wilson-Raybould’s) way, she sulked, simmered, walked and then talked” is an abhorrent statement to make considering the reason she did talk.
Cohen also wrote, JWR “is no loss to cabinet.”However she is a loss to the voters.
Why didn’t Justin Trudeau comment honestly before JWR talked, instead of lying several times before we heard the truth?
It is dangerous when voters continue to support a party line rather than right from wrong. Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott chose not to follow party lines of keeping a wrong undercover.
We need to remember these women for exposing the deceit of our prime minister. If they had not, the next politicians in power would attempt to further erode our democracy.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Thankfully Wilson-Raybould and Philpott understand this.
