Man wanted in connection to several sex-related crimes arrested by C-K police

Chatham-Kent police caught up to a man wanted in connection to several sex-related crimes.

Police said the man, who was wanted for multiple accounts of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching, was arrested at approximately 9 p.m. Friday.

He was charged and released from police headquarters with a future court date, police said.

Break-ins

Chatham-Kent police are investigating two separate break and enters reported Friday.

Police responded to a break and enter in the area of Adelaide Street South in Chatham around 4 p.m., where jewelry and gift cards were reported stolen from a safe that was broken into.

Police also responded to a break and enter in the area of Spence Line in Muirkirk around 4 p.m.

The suspects were seen driving a white van, police said.
