Four Chatham-Kent residents are facing drug charges after Chatham-Kent police executed a search warrant Friday at a Pond Road home in Wallaceburg, seizing drugs worth $2,900 as well as cash and scales worth $1,110.
Two of the people are charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and have been released with an Oct. 17 court date. They are a Wallaceburg man, 50, and a Chatham woman, 35.
A Chatham man, 31, faces the same charge, plus a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He is to appear before court on Oct. 17.
Another Chatham woman, 36, is charged with possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of failing to comply with her release conditions.
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
