Some health-care services offered at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be altered on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, in recognition of Remembrance Day.
All outpatient diagnostic tests will not be available that day. These departments will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies.
Also closed will be ambulatory care services, outpatient rehabilitation, pre-surgical screening, the diabetes education centre, transient ischemic attack and coronary artery disease clinics, the pulmonary function lab, outpatient lab services, health records and patient appointment offices
The Chatham-Kent mental health and addictions program outpatient department will be closed, as will the rapid access to addiction medicine clinic. For any immediate crisis, call the crisis line at 1-866-299-7447 or visit the nearest emergency room.
Elston Pharmacy, the oncology/chemotherapy department, business office and cashier’s office will be closed. However, hemodialysis care will be open.
The COVID-19 assessment centre located at the St. Clair College HealthPlex, Chatham Campus, will be open that day.
The emergency departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will remain open 24 hours daily.
