Chatham-Kent police found a man on Fifth Street Monday afternoon who was allegedly the cause of a disturbance.
As a result of the investigation, the 45-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with breach of undertaking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
On Monday, some time between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., someone entered an apartment on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
Stolen items included a Samsung Galaxy cellphone and a 10-inch iPad Pro.

Just before midnight on Monday, officers responded to reports of a suspicious man in the area of Westcourt Boulevard in Wallaceburg.
Officers located a 30-year-old Wallaceburg man who was reportedly highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself.
He was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was to be held until sober.
Police allege the man intentionally urinated all over the inside and outside of the cell. He was then additionally charged with mischief.
