Golden Hawks, Titans win in LKSSAA soccer

Jessica Conrod scored twice for the Chatham-Kent Golden Hawks in an 8-0 win over the Great Lakes Wolfpack in LKSSAA senior girls soccer Tuesday.

The Tilbury Titans edged the Lambton-Kent Cardinals 2-1 and the Ursuline Lancers lost to the Northern Vikings 4-1 in other senior girls' games.

The Titans and Cardinals tied 2-2 in the senior boys' league.

On Monday, the North Lambton Eagles swept the McGregor Panthers as the girls won 5-1 and the boys won 3-2.


Hawks 8, Wolfpack 0

At CKSS, Taryn Dudley, Camille Blain, Hannah St. Pierre, Jillian Hyatt, Shytan Wauthier and Alexis Jenkins also scored for the Golden Hawks.

Vikings 4, Lancers 1

At Sarnia, Alex Bechard scored for the Lancers.

Lauryn Hibma led the Vikings with two goals. Julia Foss and Aliyah Greaves added singles.

Titans 2, Cardinals 1

At Tilbury, Faith Marentette and Lisa Friesen scored for the Titans.

Kelsea Ellis replied for the Cardinals.

At Dresden, Peter Friesen and Joey Sadler scored for the Titans.

Zander Wright and Mark Mortier tallied for the Cardinals.

Eagles 3, Panthers 2

At Forest, Lorenzo Bortolotti and Abdo Al Najjar scored for the Panthers.
