The lights at Communication Road and Park Avenue East, as well as at the Grand Avenue East intersections are out.

Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police said the two intersections were affected by the recent storm and will be out for the next 16 to 24 hours.

The OPP are cautioning motorists to treat the traffic signals as a four way stop if completely dark.

Drivers having a flashing red light are to stop and yield to other drivers before proceeding through the intersection, those with a flashing yellow light are to proceed with caution.

Police are asking motorists to drive defensively, be patient and be extra careful at the intersection.
