Atom Wildcats win twice in tournament

The Chatham-Kent Atom Wildcats went 2-1 at the Riverside Falcons tournament recently in Windsor.

Ethan Jordan scored 10 points and Luke Smoulders added eight in a 50-25 win over the Riverside Falcons in the opener.

Evan Torres and Bennet Schaffer scored nine apiece for a 41-32 win over the Tecumseh Saints.

Schaffer scored 14 in a 60-34 loss to South Windsor.

MAJOR ATOMS: The Wildcats were 1-2 at the Sarnia Valhalla tournament recently.

Garret Day scored 13 points in a 53-51 loss to Valhalla in triple overtime. Jon Cartier had seven points and 13 rebounds, and John Furahan-Hakiza also scored seven.

Keagan Lalonde scored nine and Doug Labadie added eight in a 50-39 loss to the Tecumseh Saints.

Drew Morrison scored 13 points and Cartier had 10 in a 55-46 win over the London Ramblers.
